Getting Started
First Launch
- The app loads with a 6-second animated launch screen
- If you have iOS 17+ Personal Voice set up, the app will automatically select it
- You'll see the main board with Core Words category selected
- Tap any symbol to add it to your phrase, then tap the speak button
Building Phrases
- Tap symbols to add them to the phrase bar at the top
- Use sentence starters ("I want", "I need", etc.) for quick phrases
- Tap the speak button (speaker icon) to speak your phrase
- Tap backspace to remove the last symbol
- Tap clear (X) to clear the entire phrase
Voice Settings
- Tap the gear icon (top right) to open Settings
- Select Voice Selection to choose your preferred voice
- Personal Voice (if available) is recommended for the most natural sound
- Adjust voice speed, pitch, and volume per voice if desired
- Enable "Speak on Tap" to hear each symbol immediately when tapped
